Hey Lakeway friends and family,

I hope I find you healthy and well.

I Have good news! This Sunday, something so many have been looking forward to: the return to face-to-face live service.

I’m so looking forward to seeing you all. Can you believe the last live service was March 15? That was eleven weeks ago! But God has been good. During those eleven weeks we have been able to connect with people far and wide. Many more than we normally would, and we are going to continue to do that. We will be live streaming our service on Sunday, live band, live everything. So you can continue to watch remotely if you wish

Now, if you are planning to come, here is how it is going to work: First and foremost, be smart, be safe, be clean. Covid-19 didn’t go away; we are learning how to live with it, not spread it, get it, or give it.

Here’s the plan: we will have one service at 11am only. At this time there will be no other activities outside of the worship service and sermon. No Sunday school, children’s church or youth.

Everyone is welcome; however, some should not come. If you feel unwell, have an elevated temperature, cough, or any of the symptoms linked with covid-19, please watch from home. If you are in a high risk group, elderly, have a compromised immune system, please watch from home.

For those who are coming: the doors will be open at 10:30 and we will start promptly at 11:00. Please come in the front door, there will not be access from any other door. Inside the building there will only be access to the foyer, sanctuary, and restrooms.

For your protection our first impressions team will welcome you and open doors for you. They will be wearing masks and gloves and will ensure social distancing measures are adhere to.

We are taking the following precautions:

  • You will be seated at least 6’ from anyone not in your household.
  • Everything has been cleaned and disinfected.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available.
  • We will not be passing the offering bags; there will be a drop box inside the sanctuary near the foyer doors for offering (feel free to continue to give online if you wish).

Here’s what you can do to protect yourself and others:

  • No hugging, handshakes or physical contact.
  • Maintain social distancing parameters.
  • Stay home if you are not well.
  • Stay home if you’re not sure if you’re well.
  • Stay home if you are in a high risk group.
  • Feel free to wear a mask if you wish.
Be smart, be safe, be clean.
Looking forward to it.

God bless y’all,
Pastor Mike
